Job Title: Head, Agency Banking

Reports to: CEO and Finance Director

Job Description


Responsible for growing the transactional fee income of the organization


You will be responsible for the delivery of Agent Banking and merchant transaction targets (Volume and Value) and overall business performance.


Responsible for building and managing DSA, Agents and their set KPIs and also responsible for building and managing structures and processes aimed at growing the transactional volume of Agents and merchants.


Achieving agreed Agent targets and managing agents across the country.
Monitor and ensure all compliance policies related to Agency Banking working with In-house compliance lead.


Coordinating and executing the growth plans and strategy of the business.
Developing and outlining operational procedures that will guide ALL transactional activities on the Agent Banking platform Working with Finance, Engineering and Product teams to ensure that stakeholders see the company as irresistible (100% product Market fit).


Providing strategic insights from various stakeholders needed to improve the quality of CX for both Agents, Regulators, Product team, Partners etc. Building processes and features for the perfect Agent experience. Working with cross-functional teams: Marketing, Engineering & Products to grow and meet the monthly revenue target of the business.


Preparing, distributing and maintaining Due Diligence Checklists updating regularly to meet target
underwriting goals. Ordering and obtaining reports and verifications from external parties where necessary. Monitoring and supervising ALL operational processes to achieve 100% TAT.


Carrying out research on new technologies and ensuring 90% uptime on current E channel portal(s).
Re- engineering processes to improve service delivery. Ensuring customer experience both internally and externally are in line with service standards.


Analyzing and interpreting data and metrics for business decision making purposes
Creating reports for the management.
Taking the lead in expansion activities.

Requirements
B.Sc. in any related discipline
At least 4 – 6 years experience in the agency banking industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good Leadership abilities
Good Sales pitching and negotiation skills
Familiarity with major players in the industry is key
