A Cyber Security Analyst, also known as a Security Analyst or Information Security Analyst, is a professional responsible for protecting an organization’s computer systems and networks from cyber threats and security breaches. Their primary role involves:

Monitoring: Continuously monitoring an organization’s computer networks and systems to detect unusual or suspicious activities.

Analysis: Analyzing data and security logs to identify potential security vulnerabilities or breaches.

Incident Response: Developing and implementing strategies to respond to security incidents promptly when they occur, mitigating their impact, and preventing further damage.

Security Infrastructure: Ensuring that security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software, are up to date and effective.

Security Policies: Developing and enforcing security policies and procedures within the organization to safeguard sensitive data and information.

Threat Assessment: Assessing the current threat landscape and staying informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.

Security Audits: Conducting regular security audits and assessments to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement in an organization’s security posture.

Collaboration: Collaborating with other IT and non-IT teams to implement security measures and raise awareness of cybersecurity best practices.

Training: Providing training and awareness programs for employees to educate them about cybersecurity risks and promote a security-conscious culture.

Vacancy: Cyber Security Analyst

Responsibilities:
· Administration and management of Endpoint Security, Inventory Management, patch management and Vulnerability Management etc.


· To monitor security incidents and report to CISO for findings.
· Managing patch operations, approving, and resolving patch issues.
· To Provide L3 support and monitoring in security related operations.
·  Deployment of security solutions and controls.
·  Deployment & enforcement of security policies.
·  Administration and management of security incidents.
·  To ensure compliance for ICT environment and keeps continuous monitoring.
·  To supervise compliance aligned with security policies and resolve security challenges.

Requirements:


· Min. 8+ years of experience in compliance and security control deployment, security incident analytics, vulnerability management and mitigation.
· Understanding and experience of threat management and analytics
Hands on Experience in EDR, PROXY, IPS/IDS, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, DLP, MDM, Windows Servers, Network architecture.
. Security Certifications in ICT (CEH, Security+ /CISA)
